The Story
Zephyr makes the kind of premium ventilation and refrigeration that lands in serious indoor kitchens — then re-engineers it for the patio. Marine-grade stainless, sealed electronics, gasketed door seals — the outdoor catalog runs the same engineering discipline as their indoor lineup, scaled to handle rain, salt air, and the temperature swings a patio sees.
On the ventilation side the catalog runs in two named series. Cypress is the under-the-hood line: 36, 42, 48, and 54-inch widths, 1200 CFM blowers, baffle filters, and a clean stainless front for built-ins. Spruce is the insert variant — same blower and capture profile, dropped into a custom-built hood enclosure you fabricate to match the kitchen.
Refrigeration is the Presrv line: 24-inch outdoor-rated kegerators (single, double, or triple tap configurable), the matching beverage cooler, a compact refrigerator with a locking door, and the dual-drawer compact unit. The kegerator system is modular — buy the base unit and add the tap kit, drink guardrail, beverage cooler shelves, casters, or handle kits as you build the install.

Yes — the base PRKB24 kegerator is designed to function as a straight beverage cooler when no keg is installed. The tap kit (single, double, or triple) is a separate purchase so you can convert between kegerator and beverage cooler depending on how you're using the outdoor kitchen that season.
Yes. The Presrv line carries outdoor ratings (the -OD suffix in the model number marks this). Marine-grade stainless construction, sealed door gaskets, and the locking-door system protect against weather and unauthorized access. Standard installation in an outdoor cabinet or island works without an additional enclosure.

Match the duct cover to the hood width — Zephyr sells dedicated 12-inch duct covers in 36, 42, 48, and 54-inch widths to match the Cypress hood line. For ceilings taller than 8 feet, the Z1C-0178 extension duct cover handles 10-to-12-foot ceilings.
Zephyr's outdoor warranty covers the kegerator chassis, cooling system, and electronics. The tap kit's mechanical components are covered separately under the tap kit's own warranty (Presrv tap kit warranties typically run one year on the tap mechanism). Check the spec sheet on each specific tap-kit SKU for exact terms.
