Updated September 2026: Little Griddle is a small-shop US manufacturer (Elk Grove Village, IL) that makes stainless griddle inserts that turn any gas grill into a full flat-top for smash burgers, breakfast, hibachi. Two flagship models — SQ180 and Sizzle-Q. Not a full grill brand — this is the accessory that pairs with every grill in our catalog to unlock griddle cooking without buying a dedicated flat-top.
The Little Griddle lineup
SQ180 ($260-$340): Little Griddle's flagship. 18" × 18" square griddle insert, 100% stainless steel construction (no cast iron — no seasoning required, no rust). Fits any grill with a 20"+ interior width. Includes drip channels and a removable grease trough.
Sizzle-Q 14" × 16" ($195): Smaller version for compact grills or as a supplement to the SQ180. Same 100% stainless build.
Why Little Griddle instead of a cast-iron griddle
Cast-iron griddles (Lodge, Camp Chef, generic) are cheaper (~$80-$150) but require seasoning + never leave the grill (rust in 48 hours if left outside). Little Griddle's 100% stainless build removes both issues:
No seasoning required: Use it out of the box. Wipe with oil after cook. That's it.
Weather-proof: Leave it on the grill 365 days. No rust. Dishwasher-safe (though hand-wash extends life).
Faster heat-up: Stainless heats faster than cast iron (lower thermal mass). Full griddle temp in 5 min vs 12-15 for cast.
What to cook on it
Smash burgers (the #1 use — smash-burger technique needs a flat surface hotter than 500°F, which no grate-only grill can produce). Hibachi-style rice + veggies.
