Crown Verity
Crown Verity makes the commercial outdoor grills that hotels, parks, restaurants, and caterers rely on — Ontario-made 304 stainless, straightforward engineering, and portable builds designed to serve 50 to 500 covers at a sitting.
The Story
Crown Verity has been welding commercial outdoor grills in Burlington, Ontario since 1990. The brand built its reputation serving the commercial market — hotels, parks departments, catering companies, military bases — and the engineering reflects that heritage: 304 stainless throughout, service-first construction, and a parts ecosystem designed for 15 to 20 year duty cycles under rental and institutional use.
The current lineup covers portable propane grills from the MCB-30 (30-inch two-burner, 42,000 BTU) up to the MCB-72BI (72-inch six-burner, 150,000 BTU) with every size in between. Built-in variants exist for permanent installs. The CV-RWB-30 Range Top With Hood is the hotel-and-club standard — same cookbox, bolted into a chef's station rather than wheeled on a cart.
Residential buyers who end up with Crown Verity usually came for a specific reason: feeding a crowd, hosting weekly for 15-plus, running a weekend-market food truck, or wanting a grill that will outlast three generations of their patio. The commercial-DNA buyer gets what the hotel chef gets, in the same stainless, with the same parts support.

Design Principles
What Crown Verity Cares About
01
Commercial 304 stainless
Heavy-gauge stainless throughout — welded for commercial duty cycles that run 300+ hours per month in rental and institutional use.
02
Service-first engineering
Every component is designed for field-replacement by a line cook with a wrench — no proprietary tools, no hidden fasteners, no fragile electronics. Burners swap in under five minutes.
03
Portable AND built-in
The same cookbox appears as a wheeled portable, a built-in head, or a hooded range top. Buy for your current use case; swap configurations later without changing the burner platform.
Questions
Frequently Asked About Crown Verity
Who are Crown Verity grills designed for?
Primarily commercial users — hotels, parks departments, catering companies, rental fleets, military bases, large event venues. Residential buyers typically have a specific use case: feeding 15+ regularly, running a food truck, or wanting a grill with 15-20 year commercial duty-cycle longevity.
What's the biggest Crown Verity grill?
The MCB-72BI — a 72-inch six-burner portable with 150,000 BTU total output and roughly 1,350 sq in of cooking surface. It's rated to serve 300-500 covers per cook session when used continuously. Residential installs usually land on the smaller MCB-48 (48-inch) or MCB-60 (60-inch) for 50-150 cover capacity.
Is Crown Verity available in natural gas?
Yes — most Crown Verity models are available in both propane (LP) and natural gas (NG) configurations. The MCB portable line defaults to propane because portability + a tank is the typical use case; built-in and range-top variants are frequently specified in natural gas for permanent installs.
What's Crown Verity's warranty?
Lifetime warranty on the burners, 5-year warranty on cooking components (grates, radiants), 2-year warranty on all other parts. Crown Verity's parts network is designed for commercial duty — replacement parts are stocked and shipped from Ontario within 48 hours of order for most SKUs.
Can I install Crown Verity grills in a residential outdoor kitchen island?
Yes — Crown Verity makes built-in variants of its most popular cookbox sizes. The MCB-30BI and MCB-48BI are purpose-built for island installation with the same commercial-DNA burner platform. For residential installs, the built-in versions are the right spec; portable MCB models are not designed to be built in and will fail code review.
