This 21½" brush has the "Stiffist" bristles out of all the brushes we carry. In the past manufacturers have advised using brass bristled brushes. The price of brass has risen so much that manufacturers have switched all production to stainless steel bristles.

Stainless steel bristles are still fine for all types of cooking grill surfaces. This long brush gives you lots of leverage and you won't burn your knuckles!

Also, the bristles are wound tight in to the wire handle so the bristles won't come out, not like wood or plastic brushes that are mechanically inserted.
