This offset horizontal smoker is a perfect starter smoker.
All of these thinner gauge smokers will be limited to summertime use until you move up to the heavier gauge Horizon smokers that are made from 1/4" plate steel. We don't want to scare you away from these smokers, only make you aware that any smokers performance is directly related to what you pay for it. There is a direct corolation between the amount spent on the smoker and the smokers ability to maintain stable cooking temperatures, especially in colder weather.
